Objectives: What we want to achieve by implementing the project The rapid and massive deployment of artificial intelligence tools is profoundly challenging professional practices in education and training. The AIRED project aims to clarify and guide their use, to give every professional in the sector a concrete method for appropriating their uses, the skills to implement them, and a code of ethics for responsible, legal, ethical and inclusive use of AI. What we are going to implement By bringing together two higher education institutions, experts in educational inclusion and creators of innovative digital training, AIRED aims to train trainers, teachers and all related professions in the uses of AI. This distance learning reference course, organized by competency and open to the public, will be produced to the highest quality standards in the field, and will directly integrate content generation functions for an immediate introduction to AI. What project results and other outcomes we expect this project to have Thanks to active promotion in professional circles and on social networks, and by facilitating the integration of the AIRED module into training courses at colleges and companies, AIRED aims to train thousands of professionals to make Europe a learning and humanistic society, keen on the technological evolutions of AI. In a VUCA World (Volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous), AIRED is an opportunity for all professions in education and training. _________________________ AI has invaded the professional field and creative spaces in a pervasive and irreversible way, demonstrating spectacular performance in the assistance it provides in many professional practices. This rapid integration of AI is further accelerated by the rapid shift to telecommuting and flexibility, which have developed in every corner of the world. So, to the need for ergonomic, unified and cost-effective software in all areas, has been added the need to simplify and automate certain procedures in order to improve efficiency. This is a task for which AI is perfectly suited. The global AI market in 2023 was valued at $327 billion, and its overall value could grow and its value could increase by 37,3% a year until 2030. Currently, customer service and sales automation account for 72.9% of all uses, and artificial intelligence is still little used in training. Only 7% of organizations in the education sector currently use AI. In this context, the AIRED project aims to prepare the current and next generation of educators and all those involved in the knowledge chain to integrate artificial intelligence tools into their work, while maintaining human creativity and ethical considerations, promoting evidence-based solutions for societal challenges in education, social justice, equity, and inclusion. This objective will be achieved by offering them, at the vocational training and higher education level, an innovative training program based on the following question: “How can AI enhance innovation and creativity in the design and production of teaching materials to create training adapted to all audiences?“. Based on this challenge, the AIRED partners have identified 4 specific objectives to achieve this goal: I) Identify, through reasoned research, how to reconcile the needs of target audiences with existing AI tools, mapping their skills and activity chains to determine the best uses within a secure, ethical and inclusive perimeter. II) Train trainers, content production teams and students to master and exploit AI tools to their advantage, keeping humans at the heart of new creative practices, without fear of being replaced by task automation. III) Make pedagogues aware of their responsibility to use AI ethically, legally, fairly and responsibly when implementing their productions, in order to secure the quality of content produced and distributed, as guarantors of learning compliance. IV) Promoting a more open-minded generation of pedagogues and teachers, open to atypical career pathsTo achieve this objective, AIRED will use innovative teaching methods adapted to the needs of learners.
